There is no way for you to know what card that always represents you, because we are everywhere in the tarot. Therefore, you might be either one of the court cards. You might also be represented by some of the cards in the Major Arcana.

Major Arcana

  • The Fool: When you do something totally unexpected, for example suddenly quit your job, move to another location or start some business without enough money or knowledge.
  • The Magician: When you manipulate some event or situation in order to achieve a goal. An example is when you learn a new skill just to make your dream reality.
  • The High Priestess: When you have a secret or when there is a mistery around you, either you are aware of it or not.
  • The Empress: When you are too good for your own sake, but also when you are creative, gain weight or are getting rich.
  • The Emperor: If you are a woman, when you are controlled by a man or an authoritive figure. If you are a man, when you act as a boss or in an authoritive manner.
  • The High Priest: When you feel social pressure on you to act or behave in a certain way, but also when you are under surveillance.
  • The Hermit: When you are a loner or a writer.
  • The Hanged Man: When you are a victim.

The Court Cards in minor arcana

Remember that Queens are women, and Kings are men. Sometimes, a woman can be represented by a king and a man by a queen. This woman or man of the opposite sex can represent the situation you are in or your state of mind and soal, but also that you are deeply affected by such a man, or such a woman.


  • Page of Cups: When you are naive and childish.
  • Page of Pentacles: When you get money easily.
  • Page of Wands: When you are behaving immature.
  • Page of Swords: When you gather information and use it to hurt someone else.


  • Knight of Cups: When you relate to other people or look for alliances.
  • Knight of Wands: When you try hard to make progress at work and advance, or when you want to leave a place and move somewhere else.
  • Knight of Pentacles: When you try to prove yourself as reliable.
  • Knight of Swords: When you get into a fight for someone else or when you fight for yourself. In your opinion you fight for the truth.


  • Queen of Cups: When you are kind, emotional, understanding, tolerant, idealistic and a good friend.
  • Queen of Wands: When you are strong, determined, look good and make an impression on other people.
  • Queen of Pentacles: When you make your own money, but also when you are generous and spend it on luxuries. The card can also represent you that work in the health sector.
  • Queen of Swords: When you are not easily impressed, cold, rational, bitter and don't rely on nobody else but yourself.


  • King of Cups: When you use your commuication skills in the best way.
  • King of Wands: When you are a charismatic leader or your own boss.
  • King of Pentacles: When you are mature, reliable, have power and can help others out. You can for example be a police man or someone working at a bank.
  • King of Swords: When you want to do something illegal, when you use or abuse someone else, or when you must be extremly objective in you daily life. You might be a criminal, or you can work for the secret police or in the law department.
